Justice not done with PM Nawaz and his family: PML-N leaders

ISLAMABAD: Senior PML-N leaders while addressing a press conference post-Panama Papers verdict, claimed that the Supreme Court’s decision to disqualify the premier was ‘injustice’.

Talking to the reporters here today, Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique said that Nawaz Sharif will emerge stronger politically from the current crisis.

“Justice had not been done with PML-N,” he said, adding that party workers had been advised to stay cool in the aftermath of the apex court’s decision and said that anarchy will not take place.

The minister further asserted that it was a tragedy that a Prime Minister who had obtained millions of votes had been dismissed in a single minute.

Another senior leader and Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said that Nawaz Sharif had put the entire nation on the road to development but it was unfortunate that conspirators did not want to see the country prosper.

“Nawaz Sharif is the one who eliminated terrorism from Balochistan and improved the security situation in Karachi,” he said.

Minister for Information Technology Anusha Rehman, Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Barrister Zafarullah were also present on the occasion.
