PARIS: Works of self-taught painter Kahina Houas is being exposed at prestigious Schneider Gallery.
She launched custom-made canvases some seven years ago, showing emotional wounds of people she met, sublimating them by means of her unique paintings, manifesting the hidden meaning of things via patchworks of hues and materials. Before her ongoing exposition she had also exposed at venues like SCABAL.

Kahina Houas’s canvases turned symbolic, dynamically featuring introspective themes, during pandemic. Thanks to the inspiration she got from Farida Kahlo and other such artists, Kahina Houas successfully depicted the voyage of a being who endeavours to rise above sufferings.
