MUMBAI: Most popular Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan said on Sunday that she has no plans to work in Hollywood.
In an interview, Bajrangi Bhaijaan actress said that she was so much busy in her Bollywood projects.
“I don’t want to roam around the world, she said, “The time has not come yet. I will work on the western project if offered.”
She said that she was happy with what he got in Bollywood.
“My priorities are very different. The kind of work that these girls have put in, you need to have that kind of dedication of wanting to achieve so much and do it so wonderfully. I don’t want to conquer the world but I don’t mind having a little place of my own. It’s as simple as that.”
The 35-year-old actress also serves as an Ambassador for UNICEF and is a celebrity advocate for the organization for the education cause. She never wants to talk openly about her role or the cause she is working on in the UNICEF.
“Spreading the word about causes is nice but talking about my personal charity is something I don’t like to do. But of course, I am a celebrity advocate for UNICEF and we have worked closely over the last four years for the education of the girl child in India. That is something I am passionate about because education is something I believe in completely,” Kapoor stated.
Some of her key public services for the UNICEF education cause are to spread extensively the message of child-friendly schooling and the need to include secondary education under the ambit of Right to Education (RTE), to communities across India. She is also a part of organization’s fundraising and advocacy events for this cause.
The Udta Punjab star expressed her regret over giving up college for the entertainment industry.
The actress said, “I couldn’t complete my education. I kind of rushed into films, so I think that’s a sensitive part of my life and I always regret I never got to go to college.”
