SRINAGAR: Following permission granted by the state administration National Conference President Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah were met by a delegation of their party here today.
It was the first time workers met their top leadership since 5th of August when Modi Government by means of a presidential order stripped IoK of its special status as an autonomous state.
The delegation comprising of former party legislators was led by Devender Singh Rana the provincial head National Conference. While talking to the Media National Conference spokesman informed that the GoI had granted permission following Rana’s request to the governor of OJ&K.
After the rendezvous Devender Singh Rana held if the political process had to start then mainstream leaders had to be released. Speaking about the health of the detained leaders he said that they were both well an din high spirits though pained by the developments in the state, particularly about the lockdown.
It is pertinent to mention here that former CM and People’s Democratic Party Chief Mehbooba Mufti too had also been put in detention by the IOJ&K Administration.

Kashmir Issue: 6 more youngsters killed by Indian troops
SRINAGAR: The Indian troops during cordon and search operations killed three youngsters in Naranag area of Ganderbal and three others in the Batote area of Ramban district in Jammu region today (28th of September, 2019).
According to sources the Indian troops had also carried out similar operations in Jammu’s Ramban and Doda districts. All the educational institutions and businesses remained closed in the Kashmir Valley today.
On the 55th day too normal life remained crippled and shutdown was observed in Doda, Bhaderwah and Kishtwar against Indian occupation and repeal of special status of occupied Kashmir by India.
UN asked to send peace keeping forces in Kashmir valley to stop humanitarian crises: Mushaal Mullick
ISLAMABAD: Mushaal Hussein Mullick, wife of Kashmiri freedom movement leader, Yasin Malik has asked the United Nation (UN) to play its pro-active role and must take appropriate measures to stop humanitarian crises emerging in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).
In an interview, she demanded the international community and UN to send fact finding mission and peace keeping forces in the Held valley to stop the genocide that Indian forces are committing there.
She urges the UN to give Kashmiris their right to self-determination according to the UN Resolutions as it was the responsibility of UN to bring peace in region.
Kashmiris passion for freedom to continue against fascist Modi: Mishal Malik
Earlier on Monday, Mushaal had said that the Kashmiri people’s desire for freedom can’t be suppressed and their passion for freedom would continue to increase with every passing day in Kashmir valley against the fascist mind set of Indian prime minister Narendra Modi.
In an interview, she demanded of the United Nations Organization and other Human Right Champions to adopt concrete steps for resolving the long standing Kashmir issue.
She said people of Kashmir were suffering from a serious violation of human rights till now because of the regular military attacks by the Indian forces in Indian occupied Kashmir.
She said peace keeping organizations such as the UNO, Organization of the Islamic Countries (OIC) should have to play its vital role in this regard.
Mishal said every passing day every Kashmiri is under the threat and no one is safe from Indian brutalities, adding, it is a matter of concern that Indian forces are capturing the children and illegally entering the Kashmiris homes without any intimation.
She said there is complete clampdown in the Held valley and people were deprived of basic necessities of life including shortage of foods and medicines.
She said Indian RSS party had entered the valley and they snatched the right of ownership from the Kashmiri people.
Kashmiri leader said India is committing genocide in Occupied Kashmir and has converted the whole valley into a prison.
