Kashmir Issue: PM Imran Khan discusses IoK situation with Saudi, UAE FMs

ISLAMABAD: PM Imran Khan discussed the Indian Occupied Kashmir Issue here today with Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al Jubeir and United Arab Emirates’ Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Highlighting  Pakistan’s deep concern over the worsening human rights and humanitarian situation in Occupied Kashmir (because of the month-long complete lockdown and communications blackout in the occupied territory) PM told the visitors that Indian actions were a clear violation of UN Security Council resolutions and international law.

Informing that there was a possibility of a false flag operation to divert world’s attention from India’s illegal actions and intensified repression of Kashmiris, PM urged Saudi Arabia and UAE to play an important role to resolve the matter.

Reaffirming the strategic significance of the relationship of KSA and UAE with Pakistan, the dignitaries stated that they were visiting Islamabad at the direction of their leadership. They also acknowledged Pakistan’s role and efforts in promoting and maintaining regional peace and stability.

PTI taking to the official Twitter held: “Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed and chaired a meeting with Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia and UAE to discuss issue of Kashmir after Prime Minister successfully led efforts of raising voice for Kashmiris internationally and exposing the fascist and racist side of Modi!”
