Kindhearted Sunny to get PETA’s Person of the Year Award for salvaging stray dogs!

AIMAN INAM

MUMBAI: Besides her physical charms, Bollywood Actress Sunny Leone has a heart of gold as well!

Due to this excellence, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA – the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 5 million members and supporters -) is about to decorate her with PETA’s Person of the Year Award.

According to the details, she is being picked out for this award owing to her devotion towards salvaging stray dogs and cats. Her consideration for animals that are being battered and murdered cruelly has also been cherished by PETA.

Apropos to this, a statement quoted sources as saying: “Sunny Leone’s kindness proves she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. PETA is calling on people everywhere to follow her compassionate example by adopting and never buying companion animals, and by eating healthy, plant-based meals that save animals every time we sit down to eat.”

The 35-year-old luminary also took part in an advt. campaign regarding homeless dogs early this year. The aim of that campaign was to motivate the individuals to have a soft corner for animals in their hearts and adopt a homeless dog.

(PS for her fans: Leone’s latest song Laila Main Laila from Raees has just released!)
