 KKF sets up 34 camps for heat-stroke victims

KARACHI: Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) has  set up 34 first-aid medical camps for heat stroke patients at various places in the city after intense heat prediction on Friday by the Mat office.

KKF spokesman said that trained paramedics and doctors were deployed in the camps to provide immediate relief to victims of possible heat stroke. He said eighty ambulances were also on standby to transfer serious patients to the nearby hospitals.

The locations of the first-aid medical camps are: Surjani Khada Ki Basti, KDA Flats Surjani, Dou-minute Chowrangi near last stop of 4-J, Naala Stop New Karachi, UP Mor, Nagan Chorangi, AO clinic, Nazimabad, Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Orangi Town-5 near KMC Office, Orangi Morgue near Qatar Mor, Qatar Hospital, Aisha Manzil Chowrangi, Memon Medical Center Hussainabad, KIHD 16 Number FB Area, Ziauddin Hsopital, Liaquatabad No-10, Teen Hatti CHowrangi, jahangir Road Morgue, Gulshan Chowrangi, Continental Bakery Gulistan-e-Johar, Johar Mor Gulistan-e-Johar, Rifah-e-Aam Society Shah Faisal Colony, Cardiac No-2 Shah Faisal Colony, Nihal Hospital Malir Kala Board, KKF Morgue Malir, Chiniot Hospital Korangi, Main Stop of Korangi Dhaai Number, Sindh Government Hospital Korangi-05, Indus Hospital Korangi Crossing, Landhi Babar Market, Mehmoodabad No-6 near Baloch Colony, Jinnah Hospital, Civil Hospital, KKF Medical Central.

Meanwhile, MQM Coordination Committee HAS appealed THE people to immediately bring heat-stroke victims to the first-aid facilities camps to avoid any untoward situation.
