KP, Punjab polls: CJP takes suo motu notice

ISLAMABAD: Taking suo mottu notice of the delay in holding polls in KP and Punjab following dissolution of assemblies there, the CJP Umar Ata Bandial has constituted a nine judge bench here on Wed (22nd day of Feb 2023) to figure out how to get out of present stalemate.

The bench will attempt to figure out the forum that is supposed to announce the dates and hold elections when it ponder over the case Thursady at 2PM.
