PDM’s Lahore (13th Dec.) Jalsa could be attacked: NACTA

ISLAMABAD: While the Interior Minister Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed has allowed the 11-party alliance PDM to hold jalsa on 13th of Dec. at Minar-e-Pakistan, NACTA issued a threat alert saying that the gathering  could be attacked. 

Warning that attacks to assassinate the top-tier leadership of  PDM could be carried out in the next few days, NACTA has issued directives to all concerned stakeholders for improving and tightening security arrangements.

It has further been told that a meeting of the terror outfits had also been held to plan an attack on opposition leadership. Informing that measures had been taken to augment their security the political leadership had been advised to utilize bullet-proof vehicles.
