Lahore Ramazan Bazaars to operate from 1st May

LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal said today that people would be provided essential items on subsidized rates at Ramazan bazaars, which would start functioning from 25th of Shaaban, 1st May.
He said this in a meeting with Utility Stores Corporation (USC) Chairman Zulqarnain Ali Khan. The Ramazan Package-2019 was discussed during the meeting, held here at Civil Secretariat.
The minister said that a strategy had been evolved to provide relief to masses and strictly monitor quality, quantity, and prices of essential items at the special bazaars. He said that all line departments had been assigned duties and directed to perform their role in an efficient manner.
On this occasion, the USC chairman said the Utility Stores Corporation would cooperate with the Punjab government for the provision of essential items to people during Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.
