Karachi Kings beat Lahore Qalandars by 5 wickets

DUBAI: Karachi Kings thrashed Lahore Qalandars by 5 wickets in the 18th match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017.

Karachi Kings won the toss and chose to bowl in the match being played at Dubai Cricket Stadium.

Playing first, Lahore Qalandars posted 156 runs against Karachi Kings.

Mohammad Rizwan was the top scorer for Qalandars as he made 32 runs from 24 balls with the help of two boundaries and a six. Skipper Brendon McCullum scored 31 runs from 28 deliveries with five fours to his name.

Karachi Kings spinners Shoaib Malik and Usama Mir grabbed two wickets each whereas pacers Sohail Khan and Mohammad Amir dismissed one batsman each as well.

Mahela Jayawardene was the new addition to the Kings’ squad as they dropped Chris Gayle fin the crucial match.
