Law college principal killed in Quetta




QUETTA: A Law college principal was shot dead in Quetta on Wednesday, police said.

In the recent incident of target killing, Balochistan University’s law college principal Barrister Amanullah Achakzai was targeted by unknown assailants in Birori Road.

According to police, two attackers riding motorbikes fired shots on the Barrister’s vehicle when he left for his home.

Achakzai was critically injured in the incident and was shifted to the civil hospital Quetta by the rescue team where he succumbed to injuries.

Sources in the hospital said the victim received at least 16 bullets in his body.

Police and Frontier Corps personnel reached the scene to start an investigation.
