At least 2 FC personnel killed, 10 injured in a suicide blast in Hayatabad

PESHAWAR: Two FC personnel (including a Major) killed, ten injured in an explosion carried out by a  suicide-bomber riding a motorcycle in Hayatabad area here this morning.

According to details the suicide bomber pulled the detonator near Bagh-e-Naran Chowk when FC convoy, consisting of a car and a mini-truck, travelling from Hayatabad Camp to Qila Bala Hisar HQ reached there.

Wounded were taken to Hayatabad Medical Complex where condition of few is said to be critical. 

Both the vehicles were destroyed as a result of the blast.

No militant outfit has claimed the responsibility for the blast yet.
