KARACHI: The backbone of Pakistan bowling line, legend Pakistani Cricket star Umar Gul has turned 32 today.
Gul was born on 14 April 1984 in Peshawar, Pakistan to a Pashtun family. He passed out high school there and then shifted to Karachi with his family.
Umar Gul is best known for wicket taker. He is a right arm fast-medium bowler who has played Test matches, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals for the Pakistani cricket team.
Gul is the second highest wicket taker (74) in Twenty20 International cricket, only behind Saeed Ajmal. He won the Twenty20 International Performance of the Year 2013.
Gul married to a Dubai based doctor in October 2010. The couple has a beautiful daughter Rehab, born in May 2012.
