LG by-poll in Hazara to be held on 23rd Dec 23

ABBOTTABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) today announced the schedule for Local Government (LG) by-elections in 6 districts of Hazara to be held on 23rd December.
According to ECP schedule, polling will take place on December 23, while candidates may submit their nomination papers between November 19 and 22. The list of candidates would be displayed on 23rd November and scrutiny would be completed from November 24 to 27. The objection cases would be accepted from 28th  to 29th  November.
The Returning Officers would hear appeals from November 30 to December 1 while the candidate could withdraw their nomination papers December 3 and on the same day, the election symbols would also be allotted to the candidates. The final list of the candidate would be displayed on 4th December.
The elections would be held on 23rd December from 8 am to 5 pm without any delay under strict security measures in six districts of Hazara including Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Torghar, Battagram, and Kohistan while on 24th of December unofficial results of the election would be announced.
