LG Polls: Saeed Ghani calls on Hafiz Naeem

KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani of PPP-P called on JI’s Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman on Thursday (19th of Jan, 2023) to ensure that all the reservations of the JI apropos recently held LG Polls would be addressed.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that if their concerns regarding ‘rigging’ in the LG polls were addressed by the ruling PPP-P and the ECP, his party could talk about future moves.

ECP is probing ‘rigging’ in 6UCs by the ruling Provincial Government which according to JI and PTI deprived them of a number of seats.
