RAWALPINDI: Major General Asif Ghafoor of the Pakistan army has been appointed as the new Director-General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), announced the military’s media wing on Thursday.
Ghafoor, who is presently commanding a division in Swat, will be replacing Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa. Bajwa was appointed Inspector General (IG) Arms at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi last week.
Among other transfers, Major General Abdullah Dogar has been posted Commandant PMA, Major General Syed Adnan has been posted GOC at Lahore.
Major General Fida Malik has been posted DG Logistics at GHQ while Major General Zafarullah Khan has been posted GOC at Panu Aqil.

KARACHI: According to ISPR statement made on Wednesday Major General Muhammad Saeed will be replacing Lt. General Bilal Akbar as DG Rangers, who served on the same post since August 2014.
