Malaysia lauds Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts

RAWALPINDI: Malaysian Army Chief Dato’ Sri Zulkiple Bin Haji Kassim has acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for the elimination of terrorism during a meeting with COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa here today.

The two military high-ups discussed matters of mutual interest including defence, training and security cooperation between both the countries and overall regional security situation.

Later, the Malaysian army chief laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army also presented the guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
