ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman (MBS) will open new doors for investment and trade in Pakistan.
Addressing a news conference here, Qureshi announced that at least eight memorandum of understanding (MoUs) will be signed during the two-day visit of MBS.
“A Saudi team visited Pakistan in the last few days to assess the investment potential in various sectors of the country on the directives of Saudi crown prince,” Qureshi said, adding “Based on discussions between Islamabad and Riyadh officials, the Pakistan government expects to sign “at least 8 MoUs” with Saudi Arabia — the details of which will be revealed later.”
The minister revealed that the “high-powered” delegation that will accompany Prince Mohammed will probably be the “biggest in the history” of the two countries’ relations.
