MANCHESTER: Junk food, despite being unhealthy, tops the list and is considered the most favorite chow.

However, innumerable studies have demonstrated myriad health related disorders due to its consumptions.

But people rely on the branded food outlets such as McDonald’s, KFC and Burger King, when it comes to consume healthy as they claim to take care of our health.

Nevertheless, what researchers have now found out must be shocking for their customers.

Traces of faecal bacteria have been located in drinks in the top three fast food chains (mentioned above) in the United Kingdom.

According to details, savants assessed food samples in ten random branches of fast food chain outlets in the UK and discovered faecal bacteria in ice. That is certainly unsafe for human consumption.

Bacteria called faecal coliforms were present in three of the McDonald’s samples. Six samples of Burger King and seven samples from KFC were found contaminated.

Following the scandalous ramifications, KFC has shut down its ice machines in the UK. Also, they make sure their customers to probe the matter further.

On the other hand, Burger King assured that they will evaluate the standards and training procedures for employees.

Considering this, McDonalds’ spokesperson ensured to revisit the procedures and training, saying that nothing is more vital than the security of their customers and people.
