MET department predicts more rain in Karachi

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast scattered rainfall in the metropolitan city on Thursday and Friday (September 26 and September 27).

According to a statement issued by the MET department in this regard, hot and humid weather would likely to continue in the city till 27th September 2019 with maximum temperature to remain in range of 37 – 39ºC.

Other parts of the country will also receive rain on the same dates, the statement read.

Karachi continues to receive more rain, monsoon to stay till Sept 30

Earlier on September 2, the met office had said that the prevailing spell of monsoon is expected to bring more rain in the metropolis.

An PMD official also said that monsoon weather is expected to continue in Karachi till September 30, and another bout of rain is predicted to enter the city in the next four or five days.
