Mosques attack: Pakistanis praise NZ PM for clear stance

PESHAWAR: Pakistanis had praised New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern for expressing unprecedented solidarity with Muslims and victim families of the Christchurch mosque attacks.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was praised for unequivocal response in the wake of attacks by declaring it a terrorist attack. The people appreciated her for clarity and empathy in her public address and speech in the New Zealand parliament after the gruesome attacks. Twitter user, Waqas Aslam Cheema said, she was such a resolute and great leader and a true human being. This was how civilized nations and leaders behave”. Sharing their sentiments on social media, Tasawar tweeted, “Pakistan’s foreign office should explore avenues to deepen ties with such a mature nation and leadership.”
Lauding the categorical response of New Zealand premier, Waris Ali Raja said, ”We highly appreciate her words and her thoughts. On behalf of every Pakistani, we thank you very much Madam PM”. Yasira Mazhar remarked that no doubt Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern had won the hearts of many Pakistanis. She actually proved herself a great leader in this moment of crisis.  Abid Hussain Butt said, “Very true, I would say that the Pakistani nation was admiring New Zealand Prime Minister’s noble and humanitarian acts.
