Mr. India to have a sequel!

MUMBAI: If the grapevine is to be believed, the buzz is that Bollywood senior actress Sridevi has been locked for upcoming sequel of 1987 blockbuster Mr. India.

According to the details, the film will take the story onward. In this context, a source quotes filmmaker Boney Kapoor as beaming “Yes Mr. India sequel is definitely on.

“However, I can’t talk any more now or reveal any more details. We will make the official announcements after everything thing is worked out creatively. “

The older version of the venture featured actors such as Anil Kapoor and late actor Amrish Puri, who depicted the most iconic character of Mogambo in the said flick.

At the moment, Sridevi is all booked up with the promotions of her upcoming thriller Mom, which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshaye Khanna and Pakistani actress Sajal Ali.

The endeavor is set to release in the month of July.
