Musharraf discharged from hospital after brief admission

KARACHI: Former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has been discharged from hospital a few hours after his admission owing to high blood pressure.

According to All Pakistan Muslim League leader, the former president was rushed to PNS Shifa after he developed a high blood pressure.

Musharraf underwent several medical tests including ECG and after receiving satisfactory initial reports, doctors decided to discharge him.

In 2014, Musharraf was taken to a military hospital in Rawalpindi after he suffered from cardiac pain
