ISLAMABAD: Elon Musk’s satellite-based internet-provider Starlink has been granted temporary registration in Pakistan following green lights from all regulatory and security agencies.
Starlink’s compliance with fee payments and other licensing requirements shall be overseen by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) that will issue license within four weeks.
Following the licensing, Starlink will launch its services within a year that will augment connectivity in Pakistan’s remote areas.
