NAB will now ‘investigate’ bullet proof vehicle inquiry

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau NAB has decided to initiate investigation into bulletproof vehicle case inquiry, involving former prime ministers Nawaz Sharif and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

The approval to transform inquiry into the investigation was given in executive board meeting. Justice retired Javed Iqbal chaired the meeting at the bureau’s headquarters.

The statements of officials hailing from foreign ministry and establishment division have already been recorded in the case, whereas Sharif, Shahid Khaqan and Fawad Hasan Fawad’s statements were also recorded.
