ISLAMABAD: NAB is all set to ask Interpol to issue red warrant facilitating extradition of P.O. former finance minister Ishaq Dar from London.

According to details, following an executive board meeting headed by Chairman retired justice Javed Iqbal held here at its headquarters, NAB has said that it would get Dar extradited to Pakistan with Interpol’s assistance.

An accountability court, hearing reference against him for accumulating assets beyond means, had declared him P.O. when he repeatedly failed to appear before court saying that he was under medical treatment in London.

NAB reiterated that the P.O. Dar was not suffering from any maladie that could not be treated back home.
