Nation to remember A.Q Khan for his contribution to make Pakistan atomic power; says Murad

ISLAMABAD: Minster for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed Tuesday said that nation should acknowledge the contribution of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan on Youm-e-Takbeer for making Pakistan an atomic power and also those who are safeguarding the country on various borders.

Speaking here at National Assembly, he said that Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam and one million people sacrificed their lives for it.

The minister said that it was our responsibility to make efforts for protection of its ideology and stood with armed forces who were defending it territorial limits.

The minister said that Parliament would have to show unity to combat internal and external threats being faced by the county and to put it on way towards economic prosperity.

Those who made corruption in the country were behind the bars and their deeds should not be linked with Youm-e-Takbeer, he maintained.
