NATO representative in Afghanistan calls on COAS

RAWALPINDI: North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Senior Civil Representative in Afghanistan Sir Nicholas Kay called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) today.

In a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters pertaining to peace and stability in the region, Pak-Afghan border management and reconciliation process in Afghanistan came under discussion, during the meeting.

On Wednesday, National Security Adviser (NSA) of Afghanistan Hamdullah Mohib called on Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa to discuss prospects for peace in the region, with a particular emphasis on the reconciliation process in Afghanistan.
