Naval Chief Zakaullah calls on PM Nawaz in Islamabad




ISLAMABAD: Chief of naval staff Admiral Mohammad Zakaullah called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House in Islamabad on Monday.

According to a statement issued by PM House, the naval chief briefed PM about Navy’s progress regarding national defence.

“During the meeting, professional matters and preparedness of Pakistan Navy came under discussion,” read the statement.

The Prime Minister appreciated the role of Pakistan Navy in defending the maritime borders of the country.

Speaking on the occasion, the PM said that government will take all possible steps to further strengthen Pakistan Navy.
