Nawaz Sharif addresses public rally at Lahore

MINAR-E-PAKISTAN (LAHORE): Addressing a public gathering here on Saturday (21st of Oct, 2023) deposed PM (PML-N Supremo) Nawaz Sharif said that Clinton offered $5 billion as aid to prevent Pakistan from nuclear test.

Nawaz Sharif said that since Pakistan went on with its nuclear program under his leadership he was punished for it and shown the door using Panama Papers as an excuse.

He said that his government had controlled the exchange rates and $ was available for Rs. 104, roti was available for Rs. 4, sugar was available for Rs. 40, petrol was available for Rs. 60.

Comparing the prices of electricity unit in his era with the inflated bills of today Nawaz Sharif claimed that his government had contained load shedding.

Further comparing the power bills of his tenure with the inflated bills of today, Nawaz Sharif said that people were committing suicide due to inflation.

Citing various projects including motorways, he pointed towards Orange Line, Green Line and Metro.

Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan was about to become Asian Tiger when he was deposed.

He said he had remained incarcerated or out of Pakistan or involved in court cases for fifteen years otherwise the country would have progressed.

Assuring that he did not want to take revenge and only wanted the development of the country, Nawaz Sharif spoke about revolution in agriculture and IT in the future.

Earlier PML-N Chief Shehbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif had come back to resolve the issues of the nation.

Nawaz Sharif’s daughter (PML-N Chief Organizer) Maryam Nawaz took to the twitter to exclaim: “Thank God! Nawaz Sharif (who was said to have finished his politics) is coming back with full glory today. Welcome Nawaz Sharif.”
