LAHORE: Nawaz Sharif has proclaimed today that PML-N would participate in the Azadi Mark being spearheaded by the JUI-F chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman.
He was talking to the Media outside the Accountability Court where he was brought by NAB in connection with Chaudhry Sugar Mills. He said that he had send written instructions to Shehbaz Sharif and the details would be figured out by him and other party leaders.
Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law Captain Muhammad Safdar Awan, claiming that the 22 crore people of Pakistan were ready to be part of the Azadi March, has said that Shehbaz Sharif and Maulana Fazl-ur Rehman would walk shoulder to shoulder.
It is pertinent to mention here that Nawaz Sharif had written a letter to Shehbaz Sharif in this context and Shehbaz had called a meeting of party leaders tomorrow (Saturday 12th of October, 2019) to do brain storming about the Azadi March.

Nawaz Sharif says he supports Maulana Fazl’s Azadi March
LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he was supporting Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F)’s anti-government Azadi March.
In a letter written to the JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman from jail, Sharif expressed that the entire leadership and workers of the PML-N are with him in his ‘Azadi March’ endeavor.
Nawaz wrote that he knew that the incumbent Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government was rigged and it failed to boost economy of the country. It should be sent packing before it ruined the country.
“PML-N offers complete support to your Azadi March. Go ahead and launch protests against this failed government. We will keep supporting you till this government departs,” Nawaz wrote to Maulana.
Earlier yesterday, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had announced that his party was completely supporting Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s ant-government Azadi March.
Addressing a press conference after chairing party’s core committee meeting, the PPP chief complained of not even knowing where Fazlur Rehman’s protest would be held.
“We are not yet aware of the venue of Maulana’s Azadi March, however, after consulting with Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, we announce complete support for the JUI-F,” he said.
Bilawal also criticised the incumbent government over failed economic policies and said that the incompetent PTI government has ruined the country’s economy and we have been continuously slipping down on the world index on economy.
