ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in Senate Aitzaz Ahsan has claimed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will make Nehal Hashmi Governor of Sindh after two years for his sacrifice.

Aitzaz was expressing his views in the backdrop of the controversial speech made by PML-N lawmaker in which he threatened the JIT currently probing offshore assets of ruling Sharif family.

“Whoever is asking for accountability will retire tomorrow and we will deal with them,” insinuated Hashmi in a veiled threat to the top judiciary.

The PPP leader alleged that Hashmi’s statement was issued with consent from the premier who would not have let him [Hashmi] resign if the former had not stepped a toe out of line.
