KARACHI: The newly appointed Sindh Chief Secretary Azam Suliman Friday called on Governor Muhammad Zubair here at the Governor House.
The overall law and order situation of the province, on-going electoral process and other issues of mutual interest came under discussion during the meeting, said a statement issued by the Governor House.
The governor said that big responsibility lies on the caretaker government and civil servants for holding a peaceful and transparent election.
Muhammad Zubair said that activities related the general elections in the country will be enhanced further after Eid-ul-Fitr, the administration and law enforcement agencies should be more alert to maintain law and order situation. The Chief Secretary said that foolproof security arrangements were the top priority to ensure free and fair elections.
