Newly appointed PCB chief wants to honor Misbah, Younis, and Afridi by giving them a farewell

LAHORE: Newly-appointed Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Najam Sethi has said that the legendary cricketers Misbah-ul-Haq, Younis Khan, and Shahid Afridi will be given a farewell in September.

“The three former captains and great players will be honoured by the cricket board in a special award ceremony,” Sethi said in an interview.

“They served Pakistan for a long period and deserve appreciation.”

The PCB chief further said that top national players will also be honoured at the ceremony.

“We will honour and appreciate our top players and umpires in the same award ceremony to encourage them,” he said.
