I don’t want much for Christmas I just want the person who reads this to be healthy happy and loved!

Christian community all over the world including Pakistan is celebrating the Christmas festival today (Wednesday 25th of December, 2019).

On the occasion Pope Francis maintained the birth of Jesus was a reminder of God’s unconditional love for everyone: “…even the worst of us. God does not love you because you think and act the right way. You may have mistaken ideas, you may have made a complete mess of things, but the Lord continues to love you.”

The government of Pakistan is striving to promote interfaith harmony to discourage religious discrimination. On the occasion Prime Minister Imran Khan took to the Twitter to extend Christmas greetings to the Christian citizens:

Special programs are being held at churches (decorated with colorful lights) across Pakistan to celebrate the festival. Residential areas are decorated with twinkling lights and stars, and baubles bedecking trees, streets, houses and churches. Wreaths are hung outside stores.
