KARACHI: Rubina Qureshi, lovingly called as the Nightingale of Sindh by the music aficionados, called it a day at the age of 81.   

Rubina Qureshi – who mesmerized music-lovers in Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi and Saraiki –  was born on 19th day of September 1940 in Hyderabad and commenced her career as a singer from Radio Pakistan.  She was married to renowned actor Mustafa Qureshi.

She was laid to rest at the Abdullah Shah Ghazi graveyard in the Metropolis’ Clifton area.
