No, Humayun Saeed is NOT making a Pakistani remake of Diriliş Ertuğrul

Seems Pakistanis have found a new source of entertainment in the form of Turkish series Dirilis Ertugrul. The drama gained popularity within few weeks after Pakistan Television (PTV) aired the Urdu-dubbed version for Pakistanis during COVID-19 lockdown. Soon after the season 1 started on PTV, rumours were in the air that renowned actor Humayun Saeed is planning to make Pakistani remake of the famous series.

It all started when the actor announced that he was working on something new and will soon surprise his fans. However, fans of the Turkish drama didn’t seem happy with the announcement as they thought that they were going to lose the charm in the shape of Pakistani version.

But Humayun was quick to respond to the rumours and said: “I will never make any remake of foreign series. I was planning to do something like that two years ago when I watched the drama. But now I am working on different projects and 2020 would be busy for me.”

Humayun Saeed earned too much love from his fans when he played his character of Danish in Nadeem Baig directorial drama serial Meray Paas Tum Ho. People totally liked his acting and his pairing with Ayeza Khan in the drama. The drama also featured Adnan Siddiqui in an important role.

In the world where everyone praised the drama and the stars for fantastic performance, veteran actor Naumaan Ijaz doesn’t seem much flattered with the acting of Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui.

Recently, during an Instagram Live Session with Vasay Chaudhry, Ijaz said that Humayun needed to groom himself in acting.

“But he hasn’t, and I think he won’t learn anything in future if he continues to do whatever he is doing,” said the Jackson Heights actor.

“Maybe someday he’ll accidentally know acting. I pray that he gets it soon,” he added.
