Kiku Sharda, who plays role of Palak in the show, said: “Yes, even I have heard the news, but my team has not informed me about any such development. We last shot with him on 17th of this month.”

Awaaz-e-Punjab official also claimed that Sidhu is returning to Punjab politics full throttle, now that his contractual obligations with the hit comedy show end in September.
