RAWALPINDI: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has ‘adviced’ Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to hold the rally at Kallar Syyedan in Rawalpindi.
“If it is necessary to hold rally, then PTI Chief can have a place at Kallar Syyedan. We will not allow anybody to ‘use’ the capital for the time being including at D-Chowk and F-9 Park,” said Nisar.
Referring to Panama Leaks, the minister urged the opposition parties not to indulge in political brawl or allegations over the issue of Panama disclosures.
“The government wants to constitute a fully empowered commission and for this purpose, also contacted two former Chief Justices of Pakistan,” said the minister.
Nisar said if the opposition wants a pure investigation for Panama leaks, we are ready to let Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to investigate the ‘case’.
