Noor Mukadam Murder: IHC upholds death sentence of Zahir Jaffer

ISLAMABAD: A 2-member bench of IHC (comprising Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan) on Monday (13th of March, 2023) has upheld the death sentence of Zahir Jaffer in Noor Mukadam murder case.

The bench has also converted Zahir Jaffer’s 25-year jail term (in rape case) into another death penalty.

Moreover, IHC dismissed the appeals of Jaffer’s helping staff (Mohammad Iftikhar and Mohammad Jan) too.
