Obesity raises chances of Asthma amongst women

MELBOURNE: In a recent study, conducted here at Monash University, researchers have stated that obese women suffering from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) are more prone to have asthma.

Going through their paper it transpires that researchers seem quite positive regarding link between fat and asthma.

The PCOS syndrome in women can cause irregular menstrual cycles, unnecessary hair growth, acne, fatness, reduced fertility and augmented hazard of diabetes.
