Two killed, ten injured as militants target Police Patrol Vehicle in Quetta

QUETTA: Militants targeted a Police Rapid Response Force’s  patrol vehicle here at Sariyab Road detonating an 8 kgs bomb via remote control killing two cops (Muhammad Aslam & Ghulam Farooq) and wounding eight people including five policemen. Injured have been taken to Civil Hospital. 

The van carrying ten personnel commenced its patrolling from Qasim Lane. 

For over a decade now militants (homegrown separatists) have been targeting vehicles of LEAs on Sariyab Road. However, so far no outfit has claimed responsibility.
