Opposition’s Long March to Capital

LAHORE: JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman while addressing a Presser here on Monday (14th of March, 2022) has announced the date of much-awaited Long March towards Islamabad.

He has asked political workers from all over the country to commence marching towards Islamabad on 23rd day of March between Zuhr and Asr prayers. He said the marchers after arriving at the D-Chowk will stay put till voting for the no-trust-motion is over to provide the security to the law makers.

“From the door of the Parliament House to Shahrah-e-Dastoor, we will hold a historic rally. We will give a safe passage to lawmakers for casting their votes,” said Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman following a huddle with the leadership of other political parties.

It is pertinent to mention here that earlier PM Imran Khan has stated that on 27th of March one million PTI supporters and party workers would converge at the D-Chowk. It has further been insinuated by a minister that MNAs will have cross the mass of one million manifestants in order to go to the Parliament to cast their votes.
