Pak-Afghan forces exchange heavy fire

PAK-AFGHAN BORDER: While Islamabad said that Afghan forces fired mortar shells at the Badani area on the 5th-6th Dec night, Afghan porte parole Zabihullah Mujahid accused Pakistan of launching attacks in Spin Boldak.

Taking to the Twitter Pakistani spokesman stated: “A short while ago, the Afghan Taliban regime resorted to unprovoked firing along the Chaman border. An immediate, befitting [and] intense response has been given by our armed forces,” he wrote in a post on X early Saturday morning. Pakistan remains fully alert [and] committed to ensuring its territorial integrity [and] the safety [of] our citizens.”

Locals, who were shifted to Chaman, told that heavy fighting commenced at 10 pm and continued till well over midnight. According to Afghanistan, clashes killed four and injured five of their citoyens. Whereas, three Pakistani civilians received minor injuries during exchange of fire, and were taken to the district hospital in the border town of Chaman. On 6th Dec tranquility prevailed at Pak-Afghan border.

Balochistan Turmoil: Security forces have neutralised a dozen of Militants during an IBO carried out in Kalat district on Saturday (6th December, 2025). Weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the slain terrorists who were actively involved in attacking Pakistani targets.

Since militants cross the Pak-Afghan border incessantly in order to carry out acts of terrorism, security forces here too continuously attempt to contain the menace. For instance, on 16th Nov, during an IBO carried out in KP, five Terrorists, affiliated with banned TTP, have been neutralised.

According to sources, two notorious Afghan terrorists, who used to operate under the command of local TTP Chief Abuzar, were among the killed. Three slain terrorists have been identified as Omar Sangari (r/o Khyber District), Ehsan Badri and Subaib Lezari (both from Afghanistan).

Handler of Islamabad suicide bomber nabbed Pak-Afghan border

All the 650 people (including 525 cadets) trapped inside the military-run Cadet College Wana (situated near afghan border) were rescued and all the five militants have been neutralised by security forces here on Tuesday (11th Nov, 2025). The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Khalifa Mansoor Group had claimed responsibility for the suicide attack. It may be recalled that Mansoor was neutralised in Afghanistan Oct, 2017, by means of a drone attack carried out by US forces.

Wana Cadet College Pak-Afghan Border

The operation claimed lives of three Pakistanis (whose identities have not yet been disclosed). Militants, failing to enter the premises, rammed an explosives-laden vehicle against the main gate of the Cadet College Wana. The suicide bomber and one more militant were killed, while three of them managed to enter the campus but they were cornered in the administration block.

Two militants (including the one who carried out the suicide attack) were neutralised by security forces when they attacked the college on Monday (10th Nov, 2025), while three were holed up in the administration block. Once all the cadets and staff members were evacuated, the security forces attacked and neutralized the militants. Following that the campus was thoroughly checked for any mines or planted IEDs.
