Pak Rupee Loses Against US Dollar

KARACHI: The news that the incumbent PML-N-led  coalition government was pondering over reducing the prices of petroleum products and no news about a deal with IMF had forced the Pak Rupee lose against US dollar, slumping to 210 in the inter-bank market on Wednesday (13th of July, 2022). 

It is pertinent to mention here that US dollar was available for Rs. 157.54 till 31st day of July 2021. After shedding about 32% in the last 12 months it could now be bought for approx Rs. 211.50 in the open market.
