ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf and Russian Deputy Minister of Defense Colonel General Alexander V. Fomin had a rendezvous here on Wednesday (30th October, 2024).

Both exchanged notes on professional matters, the regional maritime security situation, and strengthening bilateral naval cooperation mutual cooperation in maritime security and naval technology, bilateral training, visits of naval warships, and joint naval exercises.

While Admiral Naveed Ashraf said Pakistan valued its relationship with the Russian Federation. Russian Deputy Minister of Defense acknowledged Pakistan Navy’s continuous efforts and high commitment to maritime security in the region.
