Pakistan cricket team to fly England on Saturday

ISLAMABAD: According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the Pakistan cricket team is all set to depart to England on Saturday for a lengthy series.

A PCB spokesperson said that the national team will participate in a training camp this month as to get familiar with the English conditions before their first warm-up game against Somerset at Taunton on July 3.

Misbah ul Haq, Azhar Ali, and Sarfraz Ahmed are the three top leaders who will lead the national team in the Test series, ODIs and Twenty20.

Earlier, PCB advised the players to limit their media interactions and barred them from giving interviews without manager’s permission.

A PCB official said that Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq is also likely to tour England in the series to monitor players’ performances closely.

Pakistan will play four Test matches, five One-Day Internationals (ODI) and a Twenty20 match during the tour.
