Pakistan foreign exchange reserves highest ever at $23.58b, says Dar




ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan’s Foreign Exchange reserves have reached the ever-highest level of 23.58 billion dollars.

According to a statement issued by the ministry here on Monday, Dar expressed his satisfaction over government’s economic performance in the last three years and said that due to the prudent economic policies of the government, we achieved this milestone

The minister said that the tax net expanded due to government’s friendly economic policies and the financial deficit has also been lower down.

“The availability of energy to industrial sectors has improved and which will be helpful for maintaining the 4% growth rate on average,” he said.
