Pakistan Navy: Keel-laying, steel-cutting ceremony

KARACHI: A keel laying ceremony of indigenously built Hangor submarine of Pakistan Navy (PN) and steel-cutting of another submarine was held here on Saturday (24th of December, 2022).

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi was chief guest on this occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Naval Chief said induction of new submarines will enhance maritime defense capacity of Pakistan Navy.

He said building of Hangor class submarines will help promote indigenous ship building industry and self-reliance.

Hangor class submarine is equipped with modern weapons and technology.
